Dear Phoenix Oasis,
​I’m writing this because I want to share my story of transformation with the entire team that made it possible. I’ve included a message below that I hope you can pass along to Owen, Anthony, Gerald, and Matt.
​I want everyone to know that no one is ever truly lost. Not long ago, I was a raging addict living at a bus stop, consumed by meth and fentanyl. I am also a convicted felon, and there were times I thought the world had permanently closed its doors on me. Today, I am sober, a productive member of society, and successfully employed. I am living proof that if you persist, you will succeed regardless of your past.
​To Anthony and the Phoenix Oasis Team:
My recovery began when Anthony personally instructed his staff to rescue me from that bus stop. The stability of this facility has been the foundation of my new life. I want to emphasize that the strict guidelines here make Phoenix Oasis a very safe place; those rules provided the structure I desperately needed to heal.
​To Owen, Johnny, and Mike:
You saved me from a hopeless struggle. A special mention must go to Owen, who actually saved my life twice—the second time by approving my return after I suffered a relapse. That second chance gave me the opportunity to finally get it right.
​To Gerald and Matt:
Thank you for running the recovery side of this program with such unwavering support and flexibility. Being able to navigate the different stages of my stay with your guidance has been integral to my stability.
